Junghans strengthens their management
Following last year’s 160th company anniversary and the recession of the pandemic, Junghans are now set to make further investments in technology at their Schramberg site, as well as towards the development of international markets and new business areas. Moving forward, Matthias Stotz and Hannes Steim will lead the Junghans management team in dual executive roles to both strengthen the company and to expedite strategic expansion. Positive earnings have been posted for every financial year since the takeover by Schramberg’s entrepreneurial Steim family in 2009.
Junghans reveals positive closing accounts again for the year 2021
The 160-year anniversary, greater investments in digitalisation and in their headquarters in Schramberg, as well as increased customer demand for high-quality products lends perspective to profit losses caused by the pan-demic. Indeed, Uhrenfabrik Junghans were even able to register growth in select international markets – demonstrating a small profit in the second year of the coronavirus.
