The Meister collection by Junghans has stood for fine, precise, and stylish wristwatches for almost 90 years. Junghans now combines this classic look with just a touch of sportiness in the new Meister Chronoscope where thoughtful color accents in radiant yellow create dynamic features on the dark dial of the mechanical timepiece. The new steel bracelet with its fine links was created especially for the Meister line and it completes the clean case design. Thus, the Meister Chronoscope perfectly fits into the modern everyday – whether on a city bike or in the office.
New color. New look.
Adding a domed, antireflective sapphire crystal opens the view to this bowlshaped dial with its gradient-effect lacquer, which is presented in a cool anthracite hue that becomes darker foward
the outside. And for the first time, all 12 of the hour markers are not only applied, but also adapted to the dial’s domed shape. Typical of the Meister Chronoscope are the bowlshaped subsidiary dials, which display the chronograph minutes, chronograph hours, and the permanently running small seconds using yellow hands. The hour and minute hands are diamond cut and inlaid with white luminous substance. Alongside the time, the date and day of the week – in German or English depending on the model – are shown in the windows at 3 o’clock.
A transparent case back allows a view of the finely finished chronograph movement Caliber J880.1. With a power reserve of at least 48 hours, it is precise and robust regardless of outside conditions. When worn, the automatic movement always delivers fresh energy so that this watch is never out of breath.
