GUARANTEE

Service guarantee

A geographically-unlimited service guarantee for the duration of two years from date of invoice is granted for the repair/ service performance of Uhrenfabrik Junghans GmbH & Co. KG, Geißhaldenstrasse 49, 78713 Schramberg, Germany (hereinafter: "Guarantor"). Within this period defects that arise in the components serviced/replaced in the scope of the repair shall be rectified free of charge by the Guarantor. Should, in the view of the Guarantor, a repair not prove possible or unreasonable from an economic aspect, replacement shall be provided in the form of an identical or similar model, at the choice of the Guarantor, so long as this is reasonable for you. Defects in the components serviced/replaced in the scope of the repair that are caused by inappropriate handling or excessive stress, as well as to the strap, glass or, where present, battery, are excluded from the service guarantee. Failure to observe the operating and care instructions of the Guarantor shall be regarded as inappropriate handling. The same shall apply if the identification number located on the back of the watch has been removed or rendered illegible.

If, in the view of the Guarantor, a repair is not possible or unreasonable from an economic aspect, or replacement in the form of an identical or similar model not reasonable to you, then the amount of the remuneration from the service guarantee shall be limited to the costs of the underlying repair/service performance. Liability for indirect or consequential loss is not covered by the service guarantee.

You may enforce the service guarantee either via presentation of the service voucher via the online service portal of the Guarantor at www.junghans-shop.com/en/ServicePortal !, or by returning your watch, together with the accompanying service voucher, via post with adequate postage and at own risk to

If a guarantee case exists, the Guarantor shall also bear the costs of return shipment, to the prevailing market amount.

In the case of a defect in the repair/service performance of Uhrenfabrik Junghans GmbH & Co. KG you shall also be entitled to statutory rights. On the other hand, the service guarantee merely contains an additional promise of performance that extends beyond the statutory rights, but does not limit or replace these.
